Skills for a Fab Life:
Preparing Today's Youth for Tomorrow's Challenges
Today's youth are dynamic problem-solvers and innovators, adept at finding creative solutions to build communities, drive social change, and adapt to our rapidly evolving world. Through Skills for a Fab Life (S4FL),
we build on these inherent strengths by connecting young people with experienced mentors who can help them expand their capabilities into essential real-world domains - from financial literacy to healthy relationships, from environmental stewardship to professional development.
As traditional life skills courses have disappeared from many schools, S4FL creates engaging, youth-centered spaces where teens can develop practical knowledge that complements their existing capabilities, preparing them to confidently navigate all aspects of adult life, offering how to's, insiders knowledge and tips for being successful on their own terms.
Below you can watch videos of previous S4FL workshops on our YouTube Channel.
If you are a teen looking to learn some new skills or get some information on a wide range of topics, be sure to follow us on Social Media so you know when our next workshops are.
This workshop was about finding the college that is the 'right fit' for you. Our presenter Kaitlin offers insights to private, community and historically Black colleges & universities.
